Pours a clear medium golden color with a puffy white head. Aroma is mostly filled with fresh western hops. Body is lightly sweet with a hint of fruitiness, but doesn't quite balance out the hops. A drinkable and clean APA, but not all that great. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 2, 2007 From the bottle this pours a yellow body with a tinge of gold and sports a large chunky head. The aroma is mainly grapefruit and zest of lemon with the sweetness of weak pale malts struggling to get out. The flavor seems a bit unbalanced for an APA, the hops in domination. It tastes liuke lemon juice with grapefruit and a touch of pine. The malt is almost absent. The finish is prolonged and bitter, which pleases me, but it is an unbalanced drink.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 26, 2005 Cloudy brighter-golden pour with a nice 1/4"-1/2" white head. Nice lacing as it went down. Very pleasant aroma of citrus and pine hops.. with a sweet malt component. Weak on the front of the palate, but the hops come through toward the middle. Nice light-medium caramel malt backbone. Bitter on the finish, but the flavors aren’t so clear.
