Nice white head that dimminished quickly. fair lacing. not much wheat in the aroma just raspberry. This translatted to the flavor as well. a very waterey mouth feel. The moderate bitter finish saved the beer. It does cut the dust on a hot day, and that is what I look for in a wheat Cornfield (4980), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Jun 4, 2007 From the commercial description: A delightful blend of raspberries and wheat beer with a bright raspberry color and just a hint of raspberry flavor and aroma. The first problem that I have with that is that it isn’t bright raspberry in color. Held up to natural light, it displays a slightly hazy straw body with mayhaps a tinge of pink. Nice head, though. The second problem is that it doesn’t have a "hint" of raspberry in the aroma. It has a strong, cloyingly sweet artificial candy raspberry aroma. The third problem is in the flavor - candy all the way except for a lemony wheat tartness that appears in the finish. Still, it has a good beat and you can dance to it....

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | May 23, 2007 Bottle. SUPER-cloying aroma. Raspberry with a touch of malt. Clear, pale pink body with a creamy white head. Sweet taste is actually under control, still too sweet but not unbearably so. Bitterness is much stronger than expected, along with some sour grainy malt. Medium-thin body with light carbonation and a relatively dry grainy aftertaste. Couldn’t finish. Mouth just feels yucky afterwards. BBB63 (4274), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jan 14, 2006 On tap at brewery: A hazed red hue with a fizzy pink head and good lace. The aroma has the raspberry dominate with just a hint of grassy hops. The flavor is mostly raspberry twang supported by a soft sweet and grainy malt bill. Almost anything else is not detectable, where is the wheat? The feel is watery and thin, fizzy. A weak attempt even for a fruit beer. Not terrible just so very under average and quite boring after just a few sips. It is not good when the best part of the beer is the appearance. shrubber85 (3014), Wallhalben, Germany
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Dec 22, 2005 Bottle. Fresh raspberry aroma. Dark pink color with small head. Light raspberry and wheat malt flavor. Little body. A light fruit beer - refreshing but not much to it. can8ianben (914), Pasadena, California, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Oct 3, 2005 Basically a bland pale lager with overwhelming raspberry flavour. It is so apparent that the beer is actually pink in colour. Flavour isn’t too fake, but it is very much the essence of this beer. It is low in alcohol, about 4.5, and isn’t worth the trip to Mishawaka. Tmoney99 (4800), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 26, 2005 Draft sampler at MBC. Reddish/orange color with a medium white head that diminished quickly. Moderate raspberry aroma. Light body with fruity unfiltered texture. Moderate raspberry flavor with a medium sweet finish. tjthresh (1782), Greenfield, Indiana, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Aug 4, 2005 My damn beer is PINK!!! Aroma is over done with raspberry. Smells like extract. Very artificial. Oddly enough, the raspberry flavor is okay. Boarderline. Watery and flat.
