Nectur of the Gods, golden honey hues with spicey nose that carried into taste, would have liked more head (but who doesn’t); just the right carbonation, maybe...just maybe slightly syruppy, but who cares! I would have it an anniversary ale (like new years or winter rather than summer) Choice of the Host for Labor Day Middle of No Where party 2005, who do I have to thank for this????

Thanks to HopDog. Pours a cloudy amber with a very small head. Aroma of grapefruit and peach. Flavor is a little harder to pinpoint. Some lighter peach and sweetness with an alcohol finish.

Poured a lightly hazy, amber color with a thin, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malts, some toffee, grass, and light citrus hops. Taste of peaches, apricots, pineapples, grass, citrus hops, caramel malts, some pine, and faint bitterness... light alcohol as well in the finish. This was an enjoyable American Strong.

thanks to bbb63(i think) who was pouring this at logans gabf weekend. yellow dark pour with a thin white head. alcohol and marshmallow nose. sugary wheat taste with a bitter finish , very nice. there is a fruitiness here that is nice. the syrupy wheat flavor hides the alcohol well.

Bottle acquired in trade with BBB63 (thanks!). Poured a medium amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of toffee, peaches and caramel. Tastes of peaches, caramel, citrus and other fruity aromas. Light alcohol bite in the finish. Lightly sweet.

Sampled at the Ohio Labor Day gathering, provided by BBB63. Light copper/golden body, thin-medium off-white head. Caramely aroma with hints of DMS (butterscotch!). Fruity, bready, caramely aroma with plenty of clover honey, sugary, rather full and creamy. Medium-bodied and refreshing. The DMS doesn’t distract the palate to a significant degree. Not bad, not excellent...meaning quaffable.

Clear amber gold with a short white head. Honey aroma, along with pale caramel malts and some maibock tendencies. Crisp, sweet and a high ABV that shows itself early in the tasting. Sweet fruity esters. Imperial pils like finish. We’re all over the place with this one, but it’s decent.
