Commercial Description:
Kolsch-Style Ale. Our Blonde ale is a crisp and refreshing golden ale. Modeled after the kolsch-style ales from Cologne (Köln), Germany, our blonde ale has a clean, lager-like character, and a smooth, balanced bitterness. The authentic kolsch yeast strain provides a subtle fruitiness, which compliments the Liberty and Hallertau hops used for flavor and aroma. 20 IBU

Bomber. Pours light orange-yellow with lots of champagne-style ultra-white foam. Aroma is sweet corn, grass, and light hay funk. Flavor is of spicy wheat, dough, grain, etc. Grass is present, with a sweet decaying funk. Honey is also strong, accounting for the sweetness. A tough sell, coming off an impy stout, but pretty good, all things considered.

Bomber that somehow made its way to a store in PA. Pours a clear gold with lots of little bubbles and a sudsy head. Aromas are grainy... corn and grass dominate. Flavors are definitely grain heavy... bread dough and honey with a grassy presence in the finish. Nothing too exciting here, but it’s not bad, either.

Bottled... Poured a light straw color with a dissipating white head... Aroma has that slightly bready lager smell to it.. Flavor is slightly sweet and bready.. Very easy to drink.. I would session the crap out of this beer.

Bottle. Pours with a very pale and very clear body with a large, frothy white head. Aroma of corn, bread, noble hops and straw. Taste is noble hops, sweet bread and grain. Very light body, lively carbonation and dry. Easy to drink, great lawnmower/baby pool beer. The only better Kolsch that I have had is the one that I just brewed...

22oz bottle from South bay Drugs. Pours a clear medium yellow with a fluffy white head that leaves some spotty lacing. Nose of corn, light hops and wheat. Flavor was mostly corn and biscuit. Overall a pretty flavorful Blonde.

Bottle… Clear yellow ale with a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Excellent retention. Biscuity, musky, peppery aroma. Medium-bodied with prickly carbonation. The flavor is perfectly balanced. Pale grains and a kiss of honey. Short, crisp, snappy finish.

Bomber from Ledger’s. Light golden color with a bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet and floral. Near medium body with lightly frothy carbonation. Flavor is mild malt and grassy/peppery hop. Gotta be noble! A more flavorful Kolsch than most. Quite refreshing.
