stchloe (197), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 27, 2008 Uncomfortably bitter, with a slight astringency resin in the after, but not entirely undrinkable. Sparky27 (600), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Aug 5, 2008 Bottle. Pours a medium gold with a 2 finger rocky white head and great lacing. Nose is malt and floral hops. Taste is sweet malt, mild citrus and a touch of resin in the finish. Medium mouth feel. A lot better than I thought it would be – this is not a bad Pale and one that I would buy again. cazort (373), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 27, 2008 (Bottle) I found this pale ale to be quite impressive. It is the quality of the hops that really makes this one. This beer is hoppy, like a typical American pale ale. But instead of using brute force, there’s some subtlety to how this brew has been crafted. The hops have a coarse, sort of caraway-like flavour, yet they are light. The texture of this beer is clear, fresh, bordering on thin. Crisp and refreshing, certainly not too heavy--this has its upsides and downsides. Overall, I liked this one more than a typical pale ale, but it’s not among the best of the best. A richer malt character would improve it. Bier brauen (145), Bremerton, Washington, USA Jun 7, 2008 Medium aroma of fresh hops. The surprised me. Hoppy for a pale ale, but I like hops so that’s ok. Light, thin head, and adrinkable, session style beer. TPaliga (212), Munster, Indiana, USA Apr 17, 2008 Light citrus aroma. Lemony and fresh. Flavor much the same. Nice bitter finish with refreshing citrus notes. Very sessionable. Tasty and refreshing. Definitely not a hop bomb, but flavorful enough to not be too boring.
