| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 8, 2009 Nice brown / copper hue with a big tan foam-up and decent retention and pretty good lacing. Not to sure about the aroma. It’s fairly strong with biscuity roasted malts, some chocolate. Overall dirty metal / chemical smell. There’s alot I like, but enough aroma that I don’t like... Taste has an odd bitterness and burntness with a barely noticable sweetness. Quite malty. Spend your money somewhere else; for instance: peep shows. TheSponge (281), Lynnwood, Washington, USA

Flavor: Somewhat thin, almost watery...hints of caramel, and chocolate. Skidds (252), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 2, 2009 I think I was just attracted to the moonshine style bottle. I was not overly impressed with this in any regard. Watery and thin. WVHouseofBeer (376), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 31, 2009 Not much of an aroma, poured a reddish-brown color. Light flavors of caramel and roasted malts. This was way too thin. Cool jug and for only $3 I can’t complain, but this is a below average Black & Tan. blutt59 (2110), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 3, 2009 Pours clearish brown caramel color with nice head, which is pillowy and lasting. The smell is macro garbage lager-esque, while retaining a souring malted note. The taste is similar and exhibits slightly toasted corn malts and a watery grassy presence, highlighted by quaint notes of almonds and marzipan, but I was really, really trying to find some character here. Inspection reveals that this isn’t from MIssissippi, I’ve been had by a slick marketing design/fraud. Further inspection reveals that this is better imbibed strait from the cool jug and with the eyes closed. Elwood (677), Leesburg, Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 24, 2009 1 quart bottle. Pours a deep amber brown with a small, off-white head. The nose is light with some malt and caramel notes. Medium carbonation with a light, watery mouthfeel. Hints of caramel, roasted malt, and mineral notes on the palate. Short finish. Drinkable, but not a lot of flavor or complexity there.
