The aroma keeps me coming back, The appearance is great and full of color in a frosty mug. I serve at room temp and place it slowly down the side of a frosty mug). To low a temp will kill the many great flavors and the snap at the end. As for the palate, a bit playfull, full body with a creamy smoooth slide. :-)
As for overall impression, I purchased 2 cases just to be sure I have some on hand. V/R Kent M. Whitney Master Chief, USN Retired

Besides making your own with Pilsner and Porter mix or going to a pub and receiving Guiness Stout along with Harps or Bass.
Mississippi Mud is very smooth, easy to drink... Worth trying if you haven’t. My suggestion as far as finding it in any area...check with distributors first , they will help you find this elusive beer. dkcamper (2), USA does not count | 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Feb 13, 2008 One of my favorite beers that has become hard to come by lately. I love the taste and could drink it all day. Hope it become more popular again. djnicotine99 (17), Lake Charles, Louisiana, USA

This is second only to taking bass & Guiness and mixing it yourself. It has a wondeful rich taste, and goes down smooth. It may be to thick for some peoples tastes, so if you aren’t in to dark beers this is probably not the beer for you. However if you are a fan of Bass, Guiness, Newcastle, or any other similar beer give this one a shot, you will probably like it! cyberdrunk99 (1), Flushing, New York, USA does not count | 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jul 17, 2001 millerman99 (7), USA does not count | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 17, 2001 This is a decent beer i only had it once..but i would recomend it to the harcore alcoholiks!!
