Dec 26, 2009 Mississippi crud. Pretty terrible, watered down beer. The bottle is awesome though, and it only costs 3 bucks. So take it for what it is.

Dec 24, 2009 32oz. Bottle: Aroma of grains, noble hops, and pils malts. Poured amber/copper in color with a small, off-white head that barely lasted around the edges. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Good lacing. Flavor is lightly bitter and slightly sweet. Tastes of a mess of malts, noble hops, slight cocoa, light roasting, and grains. Light to medium body. Slightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Grain, noble hop, and roasted malt finish is slightly dry. Not very good.

Nov 30, 2009 (quart jug - pint glass) aroma has a coffee malt smell. Pours a brown liquid. Has little head and little to no lacing. Has a fruity hoppy taste with a coffee slightly choclatey taste. Thin texture and a light to medium body. It also is flat. This beer tastes wierd.

Nov 29, 2009 I thought this beer was pretty good, I don’t understand why it seems to have a low score. It’s half pale half dark, so the color is brown. The aroma is hoppy thanks to the pilsner, and the flavor is smooth and refreshing with a nice balance between malt and hops. I like this beer and it was cheap and I would certainly recommend it.

Oct 27, 2009 Dark brownish amber color with a thick tan head. The flavor was a sweet caramel malty taste with some citrus in the background. Not a bad beer. Very cool bottle!

Sep 8, 2009 I’m not gonna lie- i just drank this baby out of the jug. I had to. My boss used to talk about this beer, he had it when he was a young lad. Now he’s old and grey, and can’t find it anywhere but i found it down in Chicago. HAd to buy it and tonight i imbibed it. Placid, creamy vanilla and a little oak i think. some milk chocolate notes is what i tasted. couldn’t tell ya what it looked like unforunately. but satifying and highly drinkable. it would be clever to get some swing tops for these here jugs and fill ’em with moonshine for the fellas. Yessir!
