Pours a hazy copper orange color with a little bit of a white head. Aroma is caramel, toast, and piny citrus hops. Flavor is caramel, toasty, and a bitter piny citrus hop finish.

Jun 8, 2008 Tap at the brewery. The body was dark amber colored. The aroma was grapefruit and grass. The taste was bitter with some bread crust and grass. A decent brew, but a little boring.

Jun 2, 2008 Brownish tan, small beige head. Mellow aroma of floral and citrusy hops. smooth at first, with a nice hop bite - very floral and citrusy, just like the aroma. some nice winey notes at the finish. Very tasty. Sampled at the 2008 open house.

Smell: Aroma smelling heavily of citrusy hops and spice with some sweetish notes of melted honey candies.
Taste: Honey and light caramel maltiness. Slightly tangy. Dash of grain water. Citrus hops, a bit resiny. Moderate bitterness. Dry, bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Mild carbonation.
Drinkability: A decent IPA.
