Moccasin Bend Broad Gauge Rail Amber Ale

Commercial Description:
Classic American Amber ale brewed with marries otter, crystal, and chocolate malts and American hybrid hop varieties. A good transition from rice beer to something better. Initial malty taste is offset by a dryness and coffee – like bittering properties courtesy of the chocolate malt. Crystal malt creates the amber hue. Named after the lookout mountain rail line that began two blocks from our brewery and traversed the side of Lookout Mountain until it met the narrow gauge railway at the summit. The track bed of this former line is now a pedestrian and bike trail.
