Appearance: Clear gold/amber color with a one finger off white head. High amount of lacing. Aroma: Faint citrus hops with cereal and grain. Flavor: The flavor wasn’t terrible. A solid malt base, with a faint resin in the middle and a bit of bitterness at the end. Palate: Medium body with soft carbonation and a plain mouthfeelt. Overall: In the grand scheme of things this isn’t a very good IPA. Hops aren’t terribly prevalent, and the malt was very bland. I’m thinking this may have been an extract brew.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 29, 2009 Bomber. Pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Not enough hops in the aroma. What we do have is a weird sour thing going on. The flavor is more forgiving only because of the more pronounced Centennial hop character. Pine and citrus are apparent. The sweetness here is weirdly fruity, almost like banana. The finish is plastic. Probably won’t be getting this one again. tronraner (1916), Seymour, Tennessee, USA

Aroma is citrus hops, autolyzed yeast, and a touch of lemon bread. Flavor is pretty decent hop bitterness, orange and lemon, but a very unfortunate amount of band-aid like autolyzed yeast. Not too good. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA

The beer was a little brighter and more enjoyable for me. Old rating follows. Tap at the brewery. The body was dark amber colored. The aroma was grapefruit and grass. The taste was bitter with some bread crust and grass. A decent brew, but a little boring. kp (8399), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
