Fresh resiny hoppy nose with some lightly sweet toasty pale malt. Body starts fairly full and caramely sweet with a good crisp piny hoppy flavor and bitter balance before a drier bittersweet finish. The aroma contains some caramel and citrus mainly oranges. The flavor is rather bitter with some oranges and pine showing through. I’m not a huge fan of single hop IPAs but this one worked ok. Copper with a creamy off-white head that settles to a ring and left light lace. Aromas of pine and spice with a backing of citrus and toasted malt. The flavor of pine and citrus with a light woody malt backing. Medium body and a smooth medium bitterness.
