Moccasin Bend Pumpkin Seedless

Sampled straight from the tank. Dark orange off white foam. Aroma is citrusy hops, oranges, caramel, and crystal maltiness. Taste is the same, a nice solid pale ale, citrus orange hoppiness, sweet malt backbone, light bittering finish.

On tap at the brewery 5/31/08: Pours a transparent deep golden with a spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of peppery citrusy hops and pale malty sweetness. Body starts with good fullness, semi-sweet and slightly grainy with a grassy citrusy hop balance before a drier bittersweet finish. A good IPA.

Tap at the brewery. The body was a hazy light amber with a light khaki head. The aroma was sweet peaches with some pine and citrus notes. The taste was bitter and woody with some sassafras and bread crust.

This is really just a mellow english style session pale. There’s nothing wrong with it, but it’s not something you’re going to want to turn to when you’re looking for a big flavor.

Sampled at the 2008 open house - Cloudy orange, nice sized white head. Vegetal, flowery hops aroma. Clean crisp, with an earthy hop bite at the finish. I could drink a lot of this.

Pours a light copper color with a white head. Aroma is malty, toasty, floral, and some lemony character. Flavor is malty, caramel, toasty, floral, and a bitter citrus finish.
