Commercial Description:
An easy going session beer consisting of equal parts wheat and American 2 Row Malt. What about the watermelon you say? Chunks of fresh watermelon are juiced and the juice is reduced under low heat and added during the second stage of fermentation. Some of the melon essence ferments but a very slight aroma and sweetness remain. A refreshing light bodied ale that won’t put you under the table (unless you want to be).

From a can, courtesy of Springslicker. Slightly cloudy yellow, no head. Faint, sweet candyish watermelon aroma. Way too thin bodied. Hint of watermelon flavor, maybe a touch of wheat character. But really just too watery.

unlabeled can from Goldtwins. This was a watery sloppy brew that had very little taste and also made me realize how fucking hard it is to rate lots of beers just to rate beer.

cloudy, medium yellow color. for some reason, i found this to taste and smell like pumpkin although their pumpkin ale did not. i didn’t taste watermelon in this at all. it was not a personal favorite

A hazy golden/orange pour. Watermelon flavor is there as well as sweet wheat with a tad of bitter. An even smooth palate with good carbonation and mouth feel. A surprise to say the least. Brought a growler home and it was good as well. Not bad.

A faint watermelon aroma. You can definitley taste the watermelon in this one. I also get a hint of wheat and lemon in the background. This would be good for those hot days when you’d rather drink watermelon than eat it.
