Aroma of watermelon fruitiness and mildly malted wheat. Body starts with a subtly tart watermelon flavor thinning toward a bland finish. An interesting concept, but needs more body. goldtwins (4080), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 5, 2007 Draft. Hazy golden color with a mild aroma of watermellon. Light malt character but it didn’t see, very wheaty to me. Light bodied. Ughsmash (4035), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 7, 2007 From a keg at the unfinished brewery thanks to Chris. Poured a slightly hazy medium orange with a rather long-lasting whitish head. Aroma had a fresh watermelon seed character on top of a pleasant lemony wheat base. Flavor found about the same stuff.. the watermelon was fresh and the base moderately tart. Crisp and refreshing finish.
Note: per Chris, the canning machine went nuts and a whole bunch of the cans out there are more water than beer. This was really a solid effort. Sammy (4013), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

We notice the inclusion, the infusion of white yeast there. On a light yellow body. A medium mouthfeel with this mellon-gourd flavouring. So-so, to drink but once. Not overcarbonated, a tad astringent. Not very drinkable but not a complete waste. Suttree (2732), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Faint, sweet candyish watermelon aroma. Way too thin bodied. Hint of watermelon flavor, maybe a touch of wheat character. But really just too watery. unclemattie (2416), Georgia, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Sep 10, 2008 2008 Southern Brewers Fest . Tap. Fitted with a slice of Watermelon on the rim of the glass. It quickly got tossed. As Burt Reynolds has quoted, "don’t fruit the beer".
Poured a cloudy yellow. Funky, rotted fruit aroma. Flavor of malted wheat. Tart. after a big gulp from the mug, there is a slight essence of melon. Besides that... No fruit. Stale finish of watermelon rind bitterness. Not desirable, even on a summer day. decaturstevo (1997), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 8, 2006 A hazy golden/orange pour. Watermelon flavor is there as well as sweet wheat with a tad of bitter. An even smooth palate with good carbonation and mouth feel. A surprise to say the least. Brought a growler home and it was good as well. Not bad.
