He says Modelo is the best, Corona is the Busch of Mexican beers? So I decided to try it.... 1st was in a 24 oz. can, It was decent , but.... I had to try it in a Bottle to rate it !
My 1st bottle , had that " I’ve tasted this before" taste ? I think what is was is Pilsner Urquell watered down? Or if Urquell were to make a light pilsner?
I thought it was very good tasting , little fizz , light aroma , hoppy but mellow ! Very little aftertaste ... 6% ABV this would replace my Hornsby’s but not my Steel Reserve ! I would buy this a lot more often , but the price is the Biggest turn - off for me , about this Cerveza ! trapez (840), Hilleroed, Denmark

| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Dec 14, 2009 12oz bottle poured into a pilsner glass produced a thin white head with light yellow body. Almost no aroma to speak of. Very light flavor with hints of apples. Unable to sense the higher alcohol content. BrewingFan (89), Texas, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 13, 2009 Poured from a can, aroma of cereal and thats about it. Had a light head for a few seconds but fizzled away. Taste is in the Corona family, maybe a little smoother and more drinkable. Pretty light on the palate for a beer with 6% ABV. Finished up rather well, but does leave a sticky coating in the mouth. Overall it is exactly what I want, when I want it. And you can’t beat it for $5.49 a sixer. note666 (289), Eindhoven, Netherlands

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 5, 2009 (bottle - 12 oz) Pale gold color with little carbonation or foam. Aroma is dry and bitter grass with hints of corn and some stale hops. Flavor is sweet and dry at the start with an oddly sweet hint in the middle. Bitter and metallic at the end with a cloying grassy and bitter finish. puboflyons (615), New Hampshire, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 5, 2009 From the 12 fl. oz. bottle marked IG30C128-21:15. The pour is a golden-yellow with virtually no head and non-stop upwardly mobile carbonation. The aroma is vaguely malted, vaguely hopped, with a side bar of cut wet grass. A creamy but thin mouthfeel. The taste is rather flat and sour with a slightly bitter ending. This is your typical Central American style pale lager and nothing extraordinary. Their dark brew is better. potbeercollege (407), Boulder, Colorado, USA
