Draft at Modrý Abbé. A pitch black beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is very malty combined with notes of straw and cold coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw as well as lighter notes of sweet malt and roasted malt. The mouthfeel is thin, but sparkling.

On tap. Dark brown with a tint of orange and a small beige head. Pleasant burned coffee accents in the nose. Light and watery body with very pleasant notes of burned malt and coffee. Finishes dry with hardly any bitterness. Lots of flavour for a beer this light. 280608

From tap at Modrý Abbé, blindtasting beer #1. Pours pitch black with a lacing tan head. Mild roasted malt aroma. Flavour is a bit watery yet with a solid roasted to liqourice flavour. Light stinging nettle and coffee flavour. Medium dry to dry roasted malt finish. Ends dry.

Draught at RBESG blind tasting at Modrý Abbé. Very dark brown, quickly fading head. Aroma of coffee and wort. Dryish and thin. Very light bodied and a bit watery, still clean and without edges. Some light resiny bitterness.

Draught at blind tasting at Modry Abbe. Black, thin dark beige head. Weird cheap coffee aroma. Odd flavour. Just a bit thin. Bit of mint. That’s just a bit odd. Which was obvious when I found out it didn’t have much alcohol in.

Tap @ Modrý Abbé.
1st beer in the blindtasting.
Pours deep dark brown with a small, creamy, off-white head. Fine duration. Aroma has a little ashes, some maltiness and good roasted feel. Low carbonation, quite thin. Flavour is mild, a little thin, but dominated by slightly harsh roastyness. Not too sweet at all. A very nice Low Alcohol.
