Jun 3, 2002 Tasted the 2002 version. Strange beer for a Meibok which is normally golden coloured and with about 6.5% alcohol. Not the worst beer from Moerenburg but still not very good at all. The aroma is old raisins, coreander and something I couldn’t classify. Red color, off-white frothy head, fair lace. Initially light sweet, spicy, raisin, very full (too full for a Meibok in my opinion). Long finish with a nasty bitter taste.
