Isn’t that a bit underrated or do i like beer too much ;- ) No seriously, this is a good beer. Doesn’t fit together perfectly and is a bit one dimensional, but has a full body, tastes spicy and malty(o.k. a bit too much licorice but that’s ok) and is easily drinkable! maeib is right. maeib (4762), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Sep 27, 2006 Bottled - Thanks Otje - A hazy ginger coloured beer with an English cask ale like bubbly head. The aroma is yeasty and there is a little tripel like spiciness. The taste is dry and the mouthfeel is thin. There is some spicy character and a touch of fruity hops. The finish is actually quite long, and fruity. A decent enough beer with some great parts but not everything fits perfectly. Lubiere (4549), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
