yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Oct 20, 2009 Bottle, 65cl, courtesy of Papsoe through madsberg. It’s a clear, almost golden beer with a minimal white head. Fruity nose with a strange artificial hoppy touch. Not bad, just not very good or interesting. The flavor follows the same artificial pattern, with fruityness, hops and pale malts, leading to a dry, malty and hoppy finish. Not very good though. Medium to thin, and sweetish in the mouth. Dank Gott I’m not moving to India. What’s the deal with Indian beers and big numbers? At least I’m sure a big number doesn’t vouch for high quality. 090821 faroeviking (6016), Republica Vikingo de las, Faroe Islands Sep 20, 2009 Botella. Unclear yellow. Grainy wet hay aroma. Sweet grainy wet grass flavour. MiP (8793), Sønderborg, Denmark Sep 5, 2009 Bottle, 6%. Almost clear yellow colour. Yeasty flavour, some vegetable, a little paint thinner. Quite bad. Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 4, 2009 Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of madsberg. Pours an almost clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of brewing cereal.
