Mouth feel is a bit thin, but lively with carbonation. Flavor is fruity with a good amount of citrus. Bread like yeast and grassy hop bitterness round out the flavor nicely. Very good. illkarate (90), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 23, 2008 Bottle - pours a turbid orange with a huge, fluffy white head. Although the head settles, a nice cumulus looking top remains. Flavors of hay, cinnamon, citrus, a touch of malt and grass. This is a bit on the sweet side, but still nicely done. bellmyer (41), EAST MOLINE, Illinois, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Oct 18, 2008 Bottle from the Liquor Box. Pours a hazy light orange with good carbonation and a big fluffy head that soon will fall into a small, but still nice, head. Nose is a very sweet smell, with spices and citruses. Nice aroma. Taste is sweet yeast and malts with a nice mouthfeel and a good warming on the way down. Very crisp taste. Lacing is present but unspectacular. Solid brew, I like it. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 11, 2008 Big Ivory head on a dark yellow body. I found it rather disappointing. I could sense a metellic taste. Yet it is rather sweet and drinkable, although not extraordinary so. BOLTZ7555 (1086), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 10, 2008 Maybe my taste buds are dead...but just not tasting the spiciness indicative of the style. Straw colored with a HUGE ivory head and solid lacing. Aroma is belgian yeast and surprisingly sweet. Where’s the earthy, grassy, citrus notes??? Just not what I was expecting. ruggedman (619), Portland, Maine, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 5, 2008 Dupont Foret on tap at Novare Res. This was highly touted by the bartender, but i wasn’t too much of a fan. It’s got a typical Saison flavor, but a really stinky aroma. Smooth and decent tasting though.
