white head on top of a hazy golden body. aromas are very flowery, grass, a touch of juicy fruit, and dough. a bit of grass in the flavors, a mixture of sweetness, dry tartness, citrus, and finishing in a dry bitterness that is palate cleansing. this i a very nice beer to pair with foods (shellfish, seafood) and a nice suprise for your non beer friends.

Bottle at Ons te Huis, Diest. Cloudy golden with a small white head. Good orange zest aroma. Fruity flavours, notably of oranges, with some sour and spicy notes as well. Good carbonation. A well-crafted saison that still does not quite excel.

An opalescent golden ale with a thick creamy white head. A very pleasant aroma of coriander, catnip, herbs, clovers and light candy sugar. In mouth, creamy dry malt, not too sweet, coriander and orange peels, a bit astringent and funky. No alcohol. Medium bodied. Bieropholie import. Tasted early April 2007.

75cl bottle from Total Wine (Jacksonville, FL). Rated on 2/25/08. Pours a cloudy golden color with massive creamy white head that settles slowly. Aroma is yeast, spice, herbs and grass. Tastes slightly bitter initially with a balancing note of sweetness toward the end. Notes of spice, cloves, yeast, bread, faint citrus throughout. Medium-bodied, heavy carbonation, slightly bitter finish.

Tang color with nice head that quickly dissipates into a thin coverlet. Lovely, clean, yeasty aromatic profile. Flavor is similarly of a clean yeastiness, but borders on antiseptic. However, this only strikes a1-2 note pitch, and was rather uncomplex for a saison.

The beer pours a hazy straw yellow color. It has a thick white head made up of tiny little bubbles, the head settle quickly but hangs around in a thin form for most of the time you consume it. The nose is a dusty mix of spice yeast and hops. The mouth feel is highly carbonated, this comes from the bottle conditioning. The taste is a sweet mix of spice, I get light coriander, cloves, peppercorn and nutmeg with a very forward flavor of acidic lemon. The finish is a dry sweetness that is somewhat lingering. By far a tasty beer that is good all year round but it truly satisfying after a hard day of yard work, or farm work, whatever you might be doing.

Golden with dimpled white head. Aroma is sweet and spicy with vegetal lemongrass. Taste is same... sweet, lemony, and not particularly pleasant. $7/750
