Bottle: Poured a dirty yellow/beige color ale with a huge pure white foamy head with great retention and some lacing. Aroma of bready yeast with some nice floral Belgian malt notes but not as many hops as the vieille provision. Taste was a nice combination between some floral Belgian malt with some bready yeast which also provided a slightly spicy finish. Full body with some great carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Another great beer from this fine brewery.

A straw golden yellow with a slight haze and an average density creamy white head. The nose is lightly sweet and largely reminiscent of of Saison Dupont. Dry peppery hops with a hint of straw and some fruit. A bit of nondescript spice, very subtle, very restrained. Balanced crisp nose with light acidity. The mouthfeel is not overly carbonated, watery, or fizzy, just well proportioned. The flavors are in line with the nose. Again, a lot like Saison Dupont. Dry light malt sweetness with a strong peppery hop presence for the style. Lightly spicy, but again subtle. Deeper floral notes open over time. Dry acidity, but again, well balanced. Crisp refreshing with the lightest aftertaste. A delightful beer indeed!

Draft: damn good stuff, pours a cloudy amber color with a frothy white head, aroma is sweet - maybe some bananas and cloves, taste is also sweet with citrus, very crisp and clean beer. I am a big fan of this one.

Cloudy light amber with a decent head that fades quickly. Good herbal, semi sweet buttery fruit smell. Med body and smooth.Mild flavor is malty, sticky sweet pit fruits with dry spicy flavors to finish. Not too bad. 12506

750 ML bottle. Poured a hazy golden color with a moderately sized creamy head. Nice mild floral aroma...reminiscent of Duvel...but a bit lighter in body. A good find...

750 ML bottle (Foret) shared at Ritual Tavern, North Park, San Diego. hazy yellow with a white head mellow yeasty aroma. Taste is a typical saison, floral and yeasty with a hint of citrus and spice. finishes slightly bitter.

Bottled as Dupont Forêt. Grassy whiff on first open, then saturated with yeast, honey, and some nice golden ale notes. Strong floral with just a touch of pepper. Pours golden with a densely rocky white head. Taste has tripel-ish alcohol and spice, medium-full body resolving to a bready, tripel-yeasty finish. Just enough prickle to be interesting on the tongue. Flowers and Helles-spice [Helles body, too, for feel, but a bit thicker], orange peel with coriander backed off somewhat. Superb! I like the hop profile here; it seems to have started somewhere around Duvel but shot off in an unexpected direction.... Really, really irresistable!
