Aroma and taste of yeast, fruity orange, malt & hops. Filling body - light and refreshing.. Little sweetness before a dry hoppy end kicks in - little fruity sour as well - pleasant. Very great Belgium! Fine & complex! JoeinUccle (902), Brussels, Belgium

Nose is very herbal and spicy with some hop and citrus. Tastes mildly bitter with a wash of cilantro and more focused, mild hopping toward the back. Lots of black pepper. Semi-dry, medium-bodied. Peppery, lightly grass-hoppy aftertaste. I found it delicious from start to finish. kp (8399), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

an organic farmhose ale, cork explodes with a bang, slightly hazy yellow, off white head leaving nice lace, sweet, lemony, spicy, peppery aroma,
light body,
nice spicy character on a mostly dry mild malt base, a bit of bitterness eventually shows up in the finish, creamy light sweet and spicey, but somehow lacking, enjoyable

Even with the power out, I still have to get this done. Pours a lightly hazed orange with a white head. Aroma is creamy some spice and sweetness. A little too much grain/hay for me. Flavor is similar: sweet creamy and almost dusty finish. Hmm. Not really enjoying it, even in my monk like atmosphere. bhensonb (4260), Woodland, California, USA

The aroma recalls in a small way the linoleum paste used in the days of my childhood. There is also an underlying spice and citrus. The color is hazy orange tinged gold, and the head is white, going flat quickly, leaving lace tatters. The aroma has improved meanwhile. Medium bodied with creamy carbonation. The flavor is herby, grassy, citrus, spice and a touch of banana. The finish is lightly sour and slightly bitter. Not the standard Saison. Consider it a challenge. Aroma of honey and fresh hay. Soft honey malt, a pinch of pepper, light nettle/mint hops. Wish for a little bit drier finish. Had this right after a Saison Dupont Vieille Provision, and even though this is stronger, it just doesn’t have the snap and brightness. It’s a solid beer, but the angels don’t sing when I drink this one. (And they do for Vielle Provision: a whole choir of them.)
(Previous rating: Bottle, with Fin, Loz and Traci. Hazy orange, small but silkly white head. Honey, pepper, hay aroma. Velvety soft malt, yeasty sourdough, fine texture, a bit of minty hops. Rather sweet for a saison, but a nice chalky finish. 7/3/6/3 13) Fin (3415), Merton, Oxfordshire, England

Yeasty aroma, some spices tasted similar but with some citrusy and also had that taste in mouth one gets whn they start to feel sick, Casey said bile (probably correct) which sounds like I’m being harsh on this beer, I’m not it just wasn’t really my thing and maybe a bit unfair to taste it so soon after the Boon Oude Gueze. Cloudy orange color. Aroma of spice, citrus, some grain and dusty like notes, hint of yeast, some fruit and perfume. Medium bodied with a lively carbonation and light dry texture. Spicy light sweet malty like finish. Quit lovely.
