Jul 13, 2007 I had this as part of the July "beer school" at Comet Cafe in Milwaukee. I was told this beer is organic, and it continues a train of disappointing organic beer experiences in my life. This beer was fairly skunky but not without its redeeming qualities.
It had a hazy gold color with lots of head composed of tiny bubles that appeared to be the product of secondary fermentation. Aroma was skunky (in a not terrible way) with some citrusness. Flavor was further skunky in a not-pleasant way and this beer had a lemonade quality at the finish and a tart mouthfeel that was palate cleansing, but also unpleasant, like an antiseptic.
I can’t say I’d strongly recommend this.

Jul 9, 2007 Another incredibly solid saison from Dupont. This version was a bit hazier than I expected and poured a beautiful particle-infused blond with good-lasting white head. Crisp and refreshing, this beer outdoes any American summer offering -- as does, unfortunately, its $10.99 price tag.

Jul 1, 2007 "Foret" branding. Balanced sweet/sour, with nice bitterness. Sweet and fruity aroma, complemented by yeasty sourness and spicey light-body. Refreshing!

Jun 28, 2007 a nice saison with a slightly different mouthfeel. more sparkling than the typical saison...almost deus-like. nice citrus, spice and yeast flavor. finishes very clean.

Jun 24, 2007 75cl. "Foret" from the supermarket. Poured a pretty hazy yellow/amber with a huge rocky head. Aroma mainly of banana/yeast, along with some baking-style spice. Major bubblegum flavor, with a mild white pepper-like spiciness and some citrus and fresh grass notes. Not cheap, but nicely balanced and refreshing on a summer day.

Jun 23, 2007 My first saison beer. Tastes like a belgian white beer meets a belgian trappist ale. Pretty good taste. Pours a orange yellow color with a big white foamy head. Not to shabby.

Jun 20, 2007 nice hazy blonde with huge white frothy head. nice and spicy aroma with a good dose of yeast. smooth mouthfeel and very refreshing. light citrus fruits, yeast and bubblegum. wonderful refreshing crisp saison. alcohol is greatly hidden.
