750mL. Poured a cloudy light amber with a solid, beaten egg-like head. Very sharp organic aromas of under-ripe lemon, cedar, whipping cream. Pretty dry mouthfeel with some sour milk notes. Alcohol hits pretty quickly. This is a really good saison but pretty dry in my opinion.

My first Saison, so no real expectations. I was pleasantly surprised with this beer. A rich yellow with a nice head. Definitely a fruitier aroma, sweet and carbonated on first taste, almost like a subtle cider. Smooth on the way down. Had this with tapas, so it made a good palate cleanser. Agree with above rating, I could sip on this all day.

A nice rustic Saison that does become too sweet for me after a while. The carbonation is zippy and the yeast profile is barnyard all the way to the barn. If the beer was drier I would have enjoyed it more.

Bottle shared by the manager of the Mellow Mushroom with me. Pours out a yellow color with a thick white head on it. Smell is sweet and grassy, with a hint of citrus fruits in it as well. Taste is smooth and light, with a good bit of carbonation in it. Very refreshing for the style. I could probably drink this all day on a hot summer day. Not bad stuff.

Pours a hazy golden amber color with a never ending white fluffy head. Aroma is spicey, earthy. Flavor is earthy spices with a light citrus finish.

This beer pours a light amber with a very big billowing white head. Aroma is very yeasty musty but spicy at the same time. Taste is bitter but leaves you with a bit of earthy feel. I’m really starting to enjoy the tartness of saison and this one is so far my best.

25.4 ounce bottle. My second saison. This is a style I definitely enjoy. The pour is cloudy, translucent, and the color of a butterscotch candy. A generous white head stays through completion and leaves behind good lacing on the sides of the glass. The taste is floral and spicy. I smell and taste cloves, caraway seed, and coriander. These emerge from a background of flowers and pear. Foret is pleasant on the palate, sweet with a light hoppiness. Light alcohol flavor keeps the finish going, although diminished, pushing the spices to the forefront as it progresses. This is a sipping beer, and one with which to enjoy the company of good friends. This was a great pairing with the wife’s chicken piccata, served over a bed of orzo.
