Big barn aroma and a spice I can’t quite place. The taste is very much the same: a blast of that straw/barn flavor. I think the spice may be an ample amount of a hop I’m just not used to. Very refreshing, though I don’t think I’d drink it again on a cold night. More suited for the summer. MrEcted1 (144), Wheat Ridge, Colorado, USA

This beer is called Dupont Foret in my area but it’s the same beer as Moinette Biologuque. This is a great saison. Pours a nice cloudy light orange hue with a good pure white head. Not too much lacing for me... but it might be the glass i’m drinking out of. Starts off with a nice sharp tart flavor that slowly develops into a delicious fruity cornucopia of flavors. Most prominate flavors are apricots and apples. One of the better saisons out there! Glouglouburp (2822), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Funky aroma with barn yard, flower petals and some fruity notes (pineapples). Taste and mouthfeel is just great. Signature wild/funky Dupont yeast prevails. Very Saison indeed. Complex taste includes wild flowers (including dandelions), some fruity notes (peach, pineapples), mineral spices, a drop of vanilla and a rather generous amount of soft belgian hops. Finish blends the funky nature of the beer, a nice tartness and a soft but dry hop bitterness. Wow! Labelled Dupont Forest in North America and Moinette Biologique elsewhere. I guess it makes it a Biological Forest. Is there another kind of forest? maeib (4711), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 24, 2006 Bottled. A hazy orange coloured beer with a rocky white head and sticky globulous lacing. The aroma is yeasty and a little lemony with some peppery hop notes. The taste is also yeasty and peppery. Not the funk I would expect from a Dupont saison (if indeed that’s what it is), but good clean flavours. Finish a little on the short side, but very drinkable. waolsen (1222), Littleton, Colorado, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 29, 2006 Updated: Feb 19, 200833cl; thanks, Luiss, even though I can easily get this beer here! Pours a cloudy amber with a humongous bubbly platinum blonde head. Pretty solid hay and hore blanket and funk on the nose, but not sharp or tart or overpowering--just pleasant notes. Medium body, maybe actually on the light side of medium. Tingly carb but not fizzy or sharp. Citrusy, very slightly funky, and green apple on the palate, falling to an earthily bitter finish. Great stuff, very drinkable and clean and strong. joss (3662), Garching b. München, Germany
