The aroma is big Dupont farmhouse goodness - so dusty, musty and herbal, with a nice honeyed malt layer underneath. On the palate it’s dry, and dustier than regular Dupont. Less stylish in that respect, and the fizziness takes too much sugar away from the palate. The finish is again very dusty and herbal and definitely too fizzy. Good beer, has real potential, but is too assertively yeasty for my taste. ryan (1775), Beltsville, Maryland, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 8, 2006 Very big aroma, floral and full of fruit: pears, apples, peaches, lemon, and oranges. Body is a yellowish orange and slightly hazed. The flavour is a beautiful balance of sweet and sour with a nice spicy citrus fruit flavor. Very delicate flavour that ends in a nice tart finish. georgekessel (68), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Feb 6, 2006 An almost perfect beer. Great example of saison. Tiny bubbles reminiscent of champagne. Wheat spritzy, yeasty spices, mild but noticeable hops. Very quenching, probably a summer beer. A dandy. Jukkabro (3013), Tampere, Finland

This saison pours hazy golden color with a large and fluffy white head that leaves luxurious lace. Nice spicy, yeasty nose with undertones of fruit and flowers. Delicious flavor, sweet and spicy, nice wheaty malts, tart with hints of lemon and pepper in the finish. Medium to full body with soft, creamy carbonation. Very nice all around.
