33cl bottle, bottled in 2004. Nice thick white head, leaving good lace as I drink. Fascinating that I can’t see a hint of a bubble rising in my tulip?? Copper color. Peppery, with a hint at ginger in the aroma...lemon and banana play together too. Hops and yeast dominate the palate...eludes to some mineral character. Finishes dry and bitter, with malt and yeast peppering the lingering flavor. Hops are there, but this is a yeast vehicle. Nice saison.

Hints of citrus and cream in the refined aroma. Full bodied. Soft hoppy flavor with hints of laurel, cream, malt, pear and citrus. Hopbitter aftertaste. Well balanced and some complexity.

It pours beautifully with a loose frothy head. Its cloudy golden color is backed by aromas of honey and citrus. The taste has a sharp bite coating the tongue in even more honey. A great tasting beer that I thoroughly enjoyed. Possibly my favorite Belgium ale.

This was the second saison I ever had. I enjoy the fact that it’s 100% organic, I don’t really believe it makes it taste better or worse but it’s still pretty cool. This had a great strong scent right from the bottle. It poured a nice golden color with a VERY fluffy head which stuck around a good amount of time. The flavor was fruity but with a peppery taste as well, I really liked that. I expected this to be a bit more fizzy (the only reason the palate score is lower). Over all I was very happy with this recomendation.

Hazy orange colour with a sweet alcoholic aroma and fluffy white head withn plenty of lacing.Doesnt taste as strong in alcohol as it smells,nice fruity beer with a faint bitter aftertaste.Good, I could drink a couple of these.

Bottle courtesy of Matta. Poured a hazy dark yellow color with a white frothy head that fades to film fast. Aroma is fruity sour vinegar. Flavor is the same with a yeasty character to it. Decent overall and would score better if I could get past the vinegar.

02.17.05 750ml bottle, 2.003 Orangish-golden in color with massive, brainy, off-white head. Sharp aromas of grass, lemon rind, oregano, herbs, sourdough loaf. Big hop bite on flavor; and bit leafy, reminds of the water from a vase of cut flowers, crisp pear, rain collected from tree bark, mildly funky. I love this style and really enjoyed this beer. Finish could be drier to be more stylish, but it’s very drinkable as it is.

organic is the bonus. lightstruck (skunk) aroma disappears rapidly. cloudy with nice foam like shaving cream. this saison is much like the other dupont saison. refreshing, tart, fruity, fizzy, rustic, bready, soft, frothy and well balanced with bitterness. another work of art from the farmhouse.
