Potent aroma, hoppy, funk, with peppercorns and honey-wheat. Spocy medium sized body, vanilla, sweet at first but with a dry finish, soothing honey at times as well. For a saison, low on the apple index; feels a lot like a tripel. Solid all around. BennyTicklez (621), USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 5, 2005 Pours yellow/golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is strong of lemon and spice. Taste resembles saisons from Fantome, barnyard, slight citrus, big spice. Decent stuff. Tejas (696), Dallas, Texas, USA

The bubbles alone smell very flowery & citrusy. Not a lot of different flavors in this one but that’s OK. Nice smooth zesty beer with a slight hoppy bite to round it off. A tad dry to the tongue. This would be a nice apertif. I’d definitely drink it again on a hot summer night. rederic (1811), montréal, Quebec, Canada

Full fruity-yeasty aromas of oranges, manderins with an hop accents, follow through a medium-bodied palate of a good fruity, floral flavors of apricots, peaches, citrus fruits, whith a plush citrus bitter hop finish. elektrogeist (158), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Anyway, I’ve a feeling mine needed more aging because it was on the sweet side but was still highly enjoyable and exquisite- a very mellow drink with just the right amount of bitterness in it. This beer would most likely be best when paired with the proper food however, and not just drank alone. jzzbassman (845), New Albany, Mississippi, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 19, 2005 First thing I noticed was the huge citrus aroma when the cork popped, mixed with spice and general funkiness. Looked great, orange with a puffy white head. Flavor was not as spicy as some saisons, but was pleasant, musk melon, orange, coriander, and spicy. Palate was a little thin, but may have just felt that way from a lot of carbonation.

Fresh spring-like nose and a fruity (lemon, melon) peppery taste, lively on the palate and very refreshing. diabel (1369), Aarschot, Belgium
