Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 5, 2003 Updated: Jun 20, 2003The aroma is powerful; sweet and yeasty. The color is an unclear dark orange, and it has a small disappearing head. The flavor is sweet with notes of earth and yeast and ending on a dryness. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 4, 2003 Bottled Reddish brown with average head and a wealth of sediment. Heavy buttery estery aroma of banana and toffee. Sweet and rather malty. Pleasant bitterish rather hoppy finish. Papsoe (10510), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 16, 2005 (Bottle 75 cl) Comes as "Moinette II Vieille Biére Forte". The dark one from Moinette isn’t really that dark. More greyish brown, river-water look with a small off-white head. This is a beer with sound, a lovely bubbly sound appears from my glass. Stronger and less sweet than a typical Dubbel, with notes of caramel and dried fruits. 171097 yespr (6944), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 20, 2007 75 cL bottle. Pours golden orange, clear, and with a diminished white head. Aroma is slight spiced and malty with a whiff of alcohol. Flavour is sweet and spiced with a subdued malt flavour. Has a nice spice note along the way and into the finish. Solid, but the weakest from Moinette. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 21, 2007 Bottle.
