A deep honey coloured beer with lots of up-front maltiness balanced by a satisfying bitter finish.

A 0.25L glass at Urhos. Hazy golden yellow slightly coppery colour. Pale beige head. Fresh taste with hints of roasted malts. Hoppiness at end. Nice colour.

Deep orange, small head. Aroma - honey in the malts. Sweet honey palate too, tiny touch of wool. Very simple, but lovely. Caramelly retronasally later.

Cask Conditioned at The Kings Head, Fritwell. Red amber beer with beige head. Smooth malty beer with a sweetish background, understated alcohol. A little plummy but plenty of mid roasted malts.
