(bottle) pale gold with small white head. Very little aroma. Flavor is thin malt, no real hops. Average for a "near beer"

Bouteille 341ml. De couleur jaune dorée et transparente. Nez de grains de malt pâle sucrés et avec fermentation incomplète, léger de sucre chimique et avec des faibles notes de maïs sucré. Mince en bouche avec un pétillement plutôt élevé et une texture très aqueuse. Léger goût de grains de malt pâle lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un très léger goût herbeux (foin) et de faibles notes de sirop de maïs sucré puis en finale l’on retrouve un léger arrière-goût de sucre chimique. Post-goût très court, légèrement sucré aux notes chimiques.

It has some beer qualities for sure. But so do all of the Steelbacks I have tried. Scant malts with paper and muted hops from the bowels of the Steelback fermenting tanks. Throw some tonic water into a can of water, and add newspaper and you’d be getting the right idea.

Bottle 341ml Pours pale gold, lively carbonation with large white top. Aroma of raw sweet malt, grainy nose, cereals. Light bodied plain with wet grainy charcter.Boring even for low/non alcoholic beer.

Malty nose, pale yellow, tiny white head. Taste has a trace of malt, light bodied, sweet. Ordinary. Thans Radek.

ok, this one basically tastes like wort. or, what i imagine wort to taste like. ever had a tour of a brewery? ever go into that first room where the malt mixes with the water? you know how it smells? that’s basically this beer. smells like doughy garbage. there is definitely flavour here, not like molson dry or something like OV. unfortunately this tastes disgusting not good. :(

I bought this bottle while waiting at the Montreal airport to go along with my sandwhich. I think this bottle cost about $5.50, and it was too late when I realized that it was NA beer. Oh well, time to be a ratings whore. The funny thing about this beer is that it was completely fresh, yet it was, without exaggeration, a disgusting muxture of stewed cabbage, sweaty gym socks and pee. I’m really not embellishing that at all, it was as close to urine, sweat and cabbage as I’ve ever tasted. Disgusting and horrible, weak on the palate and only mildy fizzy. Even when freezing cold, I wouldn’t drink more than half, and only that much because it was so damn expensive. The worst beer I’ve had in a number of years. This is a beer worthy of it’s name.

Mild, sweet, grainy aroma. Clear golden body is topped by a large-bubbled, white, fully-diminishing head. Husky, grainy and sweet flavour with a wet cardboard finish. Very light and watery with aggressive, prickling carbonation that is unpleasant. Another one that pleasured the drain. Bottle (Provigo, May-2005).
