Slight aroma and taste of malt, with slight hops in the finish. I also detected adjuncty flavor and aromas as expected. pootzboy (1048), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada

It has some characteristics of black label but neither this Black Ice nor Molsons other Carling offering have the full bodied taste of Black label lager when it was a Carling staple. This Black Ice, like regular black label has retained one characteristic common to the Carling products I remember sampling...it disagrees with me the same way the old Carlings BL did. Tastes ok but afterwards...it’s the pondo shuffle. It must be the yeast...whatever it is it’s the one reason I stayed away from Black label for years. can poured a light gold color, very clear and not too carbonated, with a light frothy head that does not stay long. Smells of light maltyness and not much hopping. Starts fairly light and crisp then sits with a not unpleasant malty sweetness on the palate slight wisper of hops then finishes clean with no decernable after tastes.
A smooth and easy drink for a mega brewed ice beer....I think you may like it if you like medium bodied lagers. I certainy can’t fault this beer on smooth taste but it just seems to diagree with my system....even in single pint quantities. Be warned! sleepdirt (169), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

This tastes like weak Colt45. Sweet and alcoholic. That’s it. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Aroma is can, alcohol, and a small amount of hops. You can taste the alcohol above all, but there is some sort of sweet corn flavour as well. This stuff is for strictly getting bombed.
