Specially designed for the Canadian market (cold shot = slap shot?), this is really crappy. Wet dishrag aroma, Molson Canadian crappy pale lager taste. However, they were nice enough to paint a little target at the bottom of the can so you have something to aim your knife at when shotgunning. Bland grainy flavour, some corn, alcoholic bite in the finish. Very fizzy. BeerMountie (106), Bonavista, Newfoundland, Canada

Clear golden body with thin white fully diminishing head. Mild sweet flavour with no discernable hops or bitterness. Light body with very strong carbonation. | 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Nov 1, 2005 Tiny stupid looking can courtesy of tupalev. The second in a series of beers for my own private "Swill Night". So it goes against everything this "beer" stands for but I <gasp> poured it in a pilsener glass. "Won’t someone think of the children!" It pours a slightly bubbly pale gold with a small diminishing white head. Aroma, well there isn’t much of one but I could almost smell some corn and grain...I think. I’m almost scared to taste this thing but here goes. Wow, Molson has done it! The perfect beer for the average Canadian beer drinker: almost no taste and more alcohol! They’re geniuses! So to try and decribe the "flavour" is a little silly but there’s some sweet grain somewhere in there and some corn and finally some alcohol. The scariest part to me is I’ve had worse. Anyways, stay the hell away from this junk. Illuminatus (87), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Oct 15, 2005 Has pretty much no taste. On the bright side, if you’re trying to get sloshed, it has approximately the same content of alcohol as a regular can, but in a slightly smaller volume. Other than that, not much going for it. shintriad (698), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

The extra alcohol imparts a certain bitterness and fullness, perversely reminiscent of a Belgian. Somewhat better than regular Molson, I’ll wager. Hey, at least it’s not "lite."
