The bullseye on the bottom of the can and the name rather make it obvious what the motive for this beer is, and yet the government either missed this rather obvious fact, or doesn’t care. Bland, slightly grainy. Assy. hopscotch (5483), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 18, 2004 Clear yellow beer with overcarbonated white head. Talk about champagne Cap! Typical corny aroma. A little more tatse than regular Canadian, a bit more malt, and I notice the 1% difference in abv. Not bad, just like a Canadian with more body. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Clear golden body with thin white fully diminishing head. Mild sweet flavour with no discernable hops or bitterness. Light body with very strong carbonation. Can (Provigo, Aug-05). This really is impressive - looks like a dented depleted uranium shell casing. God, what a moronic corporate entity Molson is - lets make it smaller, but STRONGER - hey, yah yah yah! Here goes. (Chugged straight from the can, I’m not wasting any of my glassware on this). Aroma pretty meager - corn, skunkiness, some very sour and stale grain, but mostly corn. Taste is ... sort of foul, almost skunky, but that’s the horrible corn extract, with again, sour graininess, perhaps a bit of hops, I dunno. Mouthfeel is strangely sticky and the aftertaste is nasty - sour ditchwater, some alcohol residue. Keep this VERY cold. Better yet give it to a street person instead of a loonie next time. Pours clear honey gold, laud, fizzy somewhat creamy head with short live span.
Aroma: quiet sweet, hints of canned corn lightly mineral notes and light hint of hay hops.
Medium bodied, semi oily with sweet corn like character, soft, chewy with dryer alcoholic finish. Straight forward macro lager with higher alcohol content, fairly clean job from Molson.

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 8, 2004 Pale slightly golden yellow, thin white head. Tiny bit of hops and a bit of fruity funkiness. Hard to pick apart the aroma. Flavour and palate seem more full bodied than regular Canadian with similar flavours but a bit more concentrated, which makes sense since this is presumably just higher test Canadian. Its better than the regular version. What more do you want?
