This beer took me 3 or 4 sniffs before I actually sampled it, so repellant was the aroma. As I was finally drinking it, the aroma was much of burnt pizza crust. The taste vaguely reminded me of cold leftovers, or refrigerated broccoli. Nasty stuff. What good things can I say? Decent gold color, very bubbly to bring out your inner child, and that I actually served it cold. Also that because its so nasty to sip, that it actually might help to ward off alcoholism. mstockton (186), Rochester, Michigan, USA

Light corn aroma. Light corn flavour. Watery, fizzy, and light. This concludes the swillfest portion of the NSLC Beer Gala - thank God. On to the free (but already rated) Rochefort, Propeller, and Garrison. markymark (79), Duluth, Minnesota, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 16, 2004 For my money, the light beer is more true to its name than any other. I’m not a huge Molson Canadian fan, but it is okay, and this tastes just about the same to me. Pretty decent for a macro, but just a regular Americanish lager. presario (3002), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jun 13, 2004 Big head quickly disapears leaving a bit of sticky foam behind. We now have an almost headless pale yellow beer. Aroma of artificial sweetner. Taste for a macro light beer is decent by comparison, but poor even by the standards of the Pale Lager category. An attempt at hops is admirable vs. the US Macros versions such as Coors Light. Skip the fries and give me a real beer. If you want low alcohol drink a 4% Bitter. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
