355ml Bottle: So I’ve rated Labatt Blue, now it’s time to enjoy a Canadian as handed to me by a cottage-going friend. WTF do they put in these mass-market domestics to make them smell so bad? It’s like a cat died in laundry hamper four months ago in that bottle. The pour is only nice for mere seconds when it goes clear with some fast-rising carbonation, but makes way to something resembling head-less apple juice. Flavour is malt, corn, water, ear wax.. just bad. It’s times like this I really can’t understand the taste of the average hoser.

Bottle. Pretty much the standard cheap pale lager formula. Malts and burnt corns. Can’t say it’s horrible, but nothing special.

Ok, this one isn’t that bad - if you’re stuck drinking a macro. There’s not much too it, but beyond a little copper in the nose, it’s ok, if a bit watery.

NIce flagship Canadian beer. Pretty light and drinkable, but not too watery. A bit of an odd taste. Northern Bud with some bite.

I will drink this beer if it is free. I will never got to the store and seek this beer out. It’s certainly not the worst out there, and it’s okay to drink to get drunk, but it’s certainly not a party in your mouth.

A pretty bad canadian lager. watery and weak. Not as bad tasting as some of the american macros, but not good by any means.

Draught. Very small white head. Light golden clear body. Weak hops flavor and a good deal of carbonation.
