| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Jun 18, 2006 Open bar dude! Fizzy yellow body with a large head. Aroma is the usual sweet malts and corn with no hops but I guess this is better than the American macros. sinkhole (178), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 13, 2006 Standard marco beer, thin white head with yellow body. Slightly skunked malt aroma with a very subdued hop taste. I’d choose Blue over this but not Bud. jde123 (715), Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 11, 2006 An ill-conceived product that doesn’t follow through on the promise of a bold Canadian flavor. Perhaps my choice of beverage that night was ill-conceived, as was I when I ordered several Molson products in a row, each worse than the last. This was the first, or the last, I actually couldn’t tell the difference. bindpmc (88), San Diego, California, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 9, 2006 I had hoped to not include any macros on my review list...I really don’t see the point of reviewing Bud or Coors products, since everyone on this site likely shares a similar disdain for them. But Molson Canadian is a weird beer that just fell into my lap (metaphorically). I friend left some in my fridge after hanging out at my place. In the fridge it stayed for quite some time. I forgot to chill some craft bottles I had lying around, and got out of work too late to buy anything, and it is a pretty warm night in SoCal tonight...so...yeah, I drank one. Mind you, Molson Canadian is not a beer you see a lot of in San Diego. I mean, its here, but it is not a beer you see being consumed at bars or beach parties or anywhere else much. I had not had one since my college days in upstate New York, where a local bar had dollar Molson night every Wednesday. Anyway, after that long preamble, here’s the short review: Gold fizzy pour, with a slight tinge of green. Short white head, with a little decent lacing actually. All corn sugar and hay-toned hops. Expected the typical Canadian macro skunkiness, but got none. Surprisingly refreshing, but that’s like saying Tang is a refreshing glass of orange juice if you haven’t had Tang for a while. It still is exactly what it is. In a pinch I’d pick this over Bud/Miller/Coors products, but that would need to be a very hard pinch indeed to get me to pick it at all.. jacktripper (20), Canada
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 4, 2006 Mass-produced beers are usually not that good and this is no exception. Pours a pale gold with a small white head. Aroma is heavy on malts and corn. Flavour is a rather bland mixture of hops, corn and grain as well as some sweeter malts and the finish is quite hoppy. Overall an unspectacular lager that is best suited as a refreshing drink one has after cutting the grass or helping their friends move. JFURYCAT (791), East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 3, 2006 Molson used to be one of my faves until I discovered craft beer. The Molson girl at the distributor got me to sample it again and it still has a crisp fresh tone with a pleasant finish with a touch of hoppiness. But other wise it needs cold temps to balance out that corny watery taste and mouthfeel. I feel this is the best of the macros except for say Ballantine. Holdwine (908), Beertimore, Maryland, USA
