Little aroma, insipid appearance, minimal ’clean’ flavour, with a finish so short, you wonder whether one is actually drinking beer, or water with a tablespoon of beer added. No hoppy bitterness in the finish, and no lasting complexity after swallowing. This is ’beer’ for people who either dont know how beer tastes (and dont know any better), or dont like the way real beer tastes, if the latter, then this is really sad, as good beer should be as complex and satisfying as wine. mooser (13), Ontario, Canada

Lasting aftertaste, mildly strong aroma, gold colored. This Canadian beer is hailed as the ultimate beer for hockey enthusiastes. I had it in the locker room after a game, and while it’s not my favorite, it certainly was very good. MagnusVMagnum (43), USA

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Apr 21, 2006 This pale lager pours a yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is corn, grain and some malt. In other words this is a prototypical fizzy yellow beer.
Light to medium bodied Pale Lager. Malts are grainy and grassy. There are some hops and they are ever so slightly spicy. Crisp and dry at the start gives way to thin and metallic tasting. No unpleasant flavors as there is really no flavor here at all. Slightly better tasting than beer flavored water. “Wealthy Industrialist Lager” indeed. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

I certainly won’t turn it down at a party if nothing better is available, but I can think of better beers to spend my money on.
