Light to medium bodied Pale Lager. Malts are grainy and grassy. There are some hops and they are ever so slightly spicy. Crisp and dry at the start gives way to thin and metallic tasting. No unpleasant flavors as there is really no flavor here at all. Slightly better tasting than beer flavored water. “Wealthy Industrialist Lager” indeed. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

I certainly won’t turn it down at a party if nothing better is available, but I can think of better beers to spend my money on. CanadaCam (109), Canada

Although I tend to stay away from macro lagers these days, Molson Canadian is my old stand by. Sort of like an old friend who I no longer have anything in common with, but still like to call on every now and then for nostalgic purposes. The No. 1 selling beer in Canada for the past 25 years is still the classic brew to be sipping out of a pint glass, bottle or can when the Leafs are playing and it reminds me of the times before I knew what great beer was like. rebelbrewer (125), Lithonia, Georgia, USA

Pour myself a good pint of it and got about a 1 inch head that was sitting on top of a clear straw colored medium carbonated beer. The head died quickly and left no lacing in the glass. The aroma is of corn and light fruit. The taste, what there is of it, is a little on the sweet side. This is one of those very plain beers you can drink a lot of. herbertj (11), USA

It seems to me that I used to like the Canadian lagers many, many years ago. But it only goes to show that everything is relative, and this one is relatively poor in the current market. A little sweet with pale malt, but watery and lame. Its not offensive, and I have surely had worse. I was going to say it’s a little bit better than a BMC, but actually, now this *is* a “C”….
