Didn’t even know this existed until the wife brought home a 6-pack(!). Poured a not-bad looking clear and darkish gold with a medium-thick foamy white head. Aroma was a bit grassy but mostly malt; tasted like a malt liquor but was not the worst I’ve had. Mouth and finish were okay.

Single can bought as a gag gift by my brother in law (Thanks Drew). Pours a darkish gold with thin head that dissappeared faster than I could count to ten. Aroma is sweet, boozy, slightly caramel with an iodine note. Taste is messy with industrial malt, sugar, a slight note of caramel. God it’s thin and the alcohol is very evident. The finish is barely hoppy and lingers with a little malt vinegar and booze heat. Despite all that it was not as horrific as I expected.

(Can) Bought at the BC Liquor Store. Sold solely on the Molson <!-- i -->Total Satisfaction Guarantee<!-- /i --> - it must be good. A highly alcoholic face with a nose of corn syrup and camp fuel. Flavour is highly lacquered of corn oil, iodine and menthals. No real burn for the 8% but no real satisfaction either... I’m calling 1-800 MOLSON 1

Poured from a fourty. Sparkling gold is the base here. Whipped cream is the head. Lacing galore. Fusel grain notes hit the nose. Stale bread also tags along, but isn’t welcome. Strange that the alcohol isn’t present all that much in the nostrils. This is a strange one. Upfront palate detects no discernable flavours, but as this liquid gold passes the sides of my tongue, and follows through, it hits. Alcoholic biscuit flavours are swept away by cloying sweetness. Almost like a "nice meeting ya, but now I gotta’ go." Sweet grainy finish. Thin bodied. The final verdict is sugared water with alcohol added. I was expecting worse. This may be my first "thin bodied" malt liquor. I’ll sum it up by stating that if I had to choose a malt liquor to drink, and I don’t think I ever will, I would choose this based on it’s relative ability to not offend.

Ah, what better way to make a day at work pass more quickly than with some shitty high ABV malt liquor. On the pour shows a pale golden colour and a decent white head. Aroma of corn, sugary sweetness, a bit of malt. Flavour is sweet, slightly flowery, smooth sweet finish. There is actually some bitterness detectable, but its raspy and unrefined. Still, not as bad as it could have been.

I was exited to see new Malt Liquor in my hands. Black Label 8%. Aroma very sweet, tons of sweet sugar, malt. I had in glass yes, reminds me of Navigator. Not as bad, if you like sweet, sweet strong brews. Hints of fruity malt, honey, flowers. Now if they added some Goldings . Nah, now I am asking to much form malt liquor. Am I?
