Bought a cheap-as-hell 6 pack of the cans. If you’re looking for a "value brand," go with this one. Unlike most of the others, Carling Ice has a bearable chemical taste, rather than a rotten cardboard taste. For some reason, the foam tastes like pure sugar(?!?). Better than the other buck-a-beer deals.

Can 355ml. Pours bright gold with large white fizzy head (short lived). Aroma of pale malt and sweet canned corn, light hop character. Light bodied, creamy texture with medium carbonation. Sweet pale lager in short. Watery forgettable, slightly soapy harsh finish. Poor.

Cannette.

Can. Pours clear gold with a rapidly receding head. Very carbonated, stinky. Tin-can taste dominates a non-descript palate. Another clone.

Can-Very pale yellow with a short lived fizzy cap.Very grainy (sweet) bread, and lots of corn in the aroma. Metallic finish with flavours of sweet corn and stale hops. Not recommended.

Can. Buddy tossed me one, so I thought why not. The best thing I can say about the smell is there isn’t much of a smell. Clear gold wit non-existent head, cheap looking. The flavour... well it’s not really there I guess. The best thing about this beer is it’s 5.5 and goes down easy, so I suppose it’s a good binge drinker... made me feel a little queasy afterwards however...
