If you’re looking for a "value brand," go with this one. Unlike most of the others, Carling Ice has a bearable chemical taste, rather than a rotten cardboard taste. For some reason, the foam tastes like pure sugar(?!?). Better than the other buck-a-beer deals. Radek Kliber (4000), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

DuffMan (2786), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada

Metallic finish with flavours of sweet corn and stale hops. Not recommended. AWS9 (232), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Oct 19, 2007 Can. Buddy tossed me one, so I thought why not. The best thing I can say about the smell is there isn’t much of a smell. Clear gold wit non-existent head, cheap looking. The flavour... well it’s not really there I guess. The best thing about this beer is it’s 5.5 and goes down easy, so I suppose it’s a good binge drinker... made me feel a little queasy afterwards however... iambeer (255), Ontario, Canada
