yesyouam (351), Fairport, New York, USA Jul 8, 2008 Molson Golden is a pale golden lager with a small fizzy white head. It has an aroma of... a vat of chemicals and creamed corn. It feels like stale fizzy water. Flavor is mostly cardboard, but the skunk is present as well. A touch of bitterness at the finish almost redeems it. No, it doesn’t. Only the MacKenzie Brothers could drink this.
douglas88 (741), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Sep 4, 2008 Bottle from Utah State Store. Pours a clear gold with a medium white frothy head that quickly dissipates. The aroma is sweet corn and malt. The flavor is fairly sweet, and actually kinda boozy, some grains and malts, and a touch of citrus and a slight bitter metallic hop finish. OK, but not a good pale lager. italianjohn (82), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 3, 2008 Golden brew with a skunky smell that doesn’t leave taste hits you right away little sweet and malty goes down smooth typical molson nothing spectacular it gets extra points because it doesn’t have a nasty aftertaste drinkable but a once in a blue moon kinda beer BBorsutionns (41), Nashua, New Hampshire, USA Aug 28, 2008 Golden color little head, lots of carbonation, smells very sweet, good Canadian taste. checkmatei1 (244), Willow Grove, USA Aug 27, 2008 Can: Pale yellow color, sweet smell. Not much of anything else. Would not recommend. everettvh (23), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Aug 13, 2008 Bottle. Pale yellow pour with a thin white head that disappeared quickly. Sweet smell, mediocre hoppy taste. Smooth and clean--serves well as a thirst quencher.
