Can. Not bad really. About 20 cents more than Steel Reserve and notably better. Some corn and pale malt characters with some slight bitterness and a dry finidh from the booze.

Jan 2, 2010 25oz. Can: Faint aroma of sweet corn, grains, and slight hops. Poured yellow/gold in color with a large, creamy, white head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet and slightly bitter. Tastes of sweet corn, grains, and some hops. Light body. Tingly, slightly dry texture. Average to lively carbonation. Sweet corn and hop finish is slightly dry.

Nov 17, 2009 This is an easy drinking beer. A nice malty taste with a decent hop finish. The high alcohol content forces you to limit your consumption.

Sep 8, 2009 I found five bucks and thought I’m going to buy a beer with this...I even got two bucks back from the 25 oz can. drank around a camp fire with the paper bag still on the can. big malty taste heavy mouth feel Ok after taste even with the 7.3% abv. Did it taste better because I was sitting around the campfire?

Aug 21, 2009 Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a pint glass.
The color was yellowish gold, had a slight foamy white head that deminisged quickly.
The smell was malty. Some grainy hop flavor.
The taste was a bit pale malt feel. A little sugary with a hint of grains.
The feel of this beer was a bit different than expected. A macro beer with a good name but not easiest beer to drink.

Aug 15, 2009 It’s a better malt liquor than it is a beer. Pours gold, white head. Corn sweetness and malty, moderate alcohol note. Slightly bitter. Drink this to get bent. That’s about it.

Jul 27, 2009 Let’s be honest here. It’s a malt liquor, it’s here to get you drunk on the cheap. the aroma is full of corn malt and hay. The appearance is a clean golden color, with a small foam collar. Flavor is a bit corny, some farmhouse flavors (hay and grass). The beer is not awful, not a nose pinch and drink, nor is it a drain pour. Your getting drunk with this, and that’s about it.
