Very cloudy golden, almost white color. Big, huge hoppy aroma with the american hops in this one, pretty neat! Perfumed, slightly floral, and some citrus qualities to boot. Hoppy and smooth with clean pilsneresque qualities and a yeasty zestiness helping it along. Finish is smooth and hoppy with a long lingering bitterness. Really quite nice.

Curtesy of Bierkoning. Unclear, warm golden with a huge, nice head. The aroma has citrussy notes, fruit and light sweetness. The flavour has notes of citrussy hops, bitterness like in lemon peel, light sweetness, light malt, fruit and spruce and the finish is dry. It’s a nice beer, but IMO a little bit sharp in the citrussy notes, it would have been nice with a little caramel as counterweight. But it’s a very interesting beer in every way.

2007 750 mL bottle (I guess that should be 75 cL). Thank you bierkoning! Pours a hazy peach color with quickly dissipating but very large head. Strong flowery and citrusy aroma. Taste is very bitter up front with some maltiness showing up at the end. The description below of quinine is spot-on. This is interesting, different, and though I like it, a whole bottle this large might be quite the undertaking.

Bottle, 7.5%. Thanks, bierkoning. Slightly teaish aroma, hint of light candy sugar. Cloudy yellow colour. Small, but stable creamy white head. The flavour is nice, slightly sweet with a distinct bitterness. Good, sweet spiciness, OK complexity. Very late bitterness, quinine, Campari. Could have done with less aggressive hops, otherwise quite good.
