MoritzF (3883), Ruhrpott, Germany Feb 9, 2006 (bottle) Hazy orange colour with a short frothy white head. Sweet Riesling-like peach aroma with oranges and a vinous alcoholic touch. Malt accented fruity taste with peach and oranges, medium bodied, moderately sweet, yeasty and fruity, slightly spicy finish. The alcohol is detectable but quite well integrated. A good one. Many thanks to bierkoning for this one !

Pours a pretty golden with a slight yeast-haze. A fine, smallish, frothy, white head. Aroma is pretty spicy, lots of vanilla, flowers, lemons and some barnyard notes. Fine, oily mouthfeel with a medium carbonation. Flavour is a little astringent, lots of spices (perhaps too much to really do much good?). Quite sweet with a oranges-like tartness lingering amongst the rather heavy viniousness.
