Aug 20, 2008 Bottle at ’t Arendsnest. Dark ruby red with a tan medium head. Nice malty aroma. Good balanced malty caramel flavours. Bitter enough. Fizzy. Jolly good.

Rich amber with a thin off white head. Rather good looking actually. Fruity as hell, lots of sugar and some seriously rich malt. Some peppery alcohol giving plenty of heat but it remains just about tolerable. Alcoholic toffee finish. Interesting stuff.

Aug 8, 2008 Bottle at GBBF 08. Some fruit and heat on aroma. Slightly sweet as you’d expect, nut not bad. Fullish and a little syrupy, but fine.

Aug 7, 2008 A clear dark amber colored beer, with a thick foamy beige head. The aroma of caramel and toffee. There are some spices. The taste of sweet caramel with toffee’s, some nutes. It’s warm alcoholic. The aftertaste is warm, with a little bitter.

Aug 5, 2008 Hazy brown with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with overripe fruit, caramel and yeasty notes. Sweet flavor with overripe fruits, caramel, yast and roasted malt. Warming alcohol towards the end.
