An amber beer with a huge beige head. The aroma is sweet, but also slightly acidic, and somewhat dusty. The flavor is sweet with light notes of banana and yeast.

Bottled.Thick amber. Banana aroma. Citric and very thin. Somewhat roasty. Not as cloyingly sweet as most Huyghe’s beers, but still another hopeless beer from them.

(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful, clear amber colour with a creamy, white head. Indefinable scent of....? Exciting, exotic spicy flavour which doen’t resemble anything I’ve tasted before. Surprisingly dry with a ligh bitter finish. Fairly decent. 240705

Cloudy beige; typical van steenberge nose - that yeast strain really gets on my nerves. Flavour of hops, fruit (pineapple, apricot), slight alcohol and pepper. Too much yeast and carbo.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange to brown. Lacing off-white head. Light malt aroma. Flavour is mild roasted malt with a medium dry fruity note. Light fruity towards nutty finish.
