| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 20, 2009 Served as a healthy sampler at a Mead seminar for my local homebrew club. The color was deep amber, with no head or lacing but with a clinging nature as it was swirled in the glass. The aroma was floral, slightly herbal, sweet honey, light licorice and spice. The aroma was the show, although the flavor added some alcohol to the syrupy, sticky, and sweet, full bodied liquid. Served at the end of the seminar to exemplify one of the finest in the style, and I had to agree. fonefan (11885), VestJylland, Denmark
